Carmelo Hayes Executes a Steel Chair Assault on Trick Williams
In a shocking turn of events, Carmelo Hayes unleashed a brutal assault on his former tag team partner, Trick Williams, with a steel chair. The attack came after Williams and Hayes lost in the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.
Williams had been the one to turn Hayes back on the good side after his heel turn, and together they won the NXT Tag Team Championships in October 2023. However, Hayes' heel turn was not complete and he turned back on his partner at Vengeance Day.
Hayes' attack on Williams left him injured and unable to compete in the second half of Vengeance Day. It is unclear what the future holds for Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes and whether they will ever reunite as a tag team again.
